How to Ace Your Job Interview

#1: Plan.

Prepare ahead of time for your interview. That means looking over your resume in detail, updating it and reviewing it for things that you can highlight during the interview. Think about the topics that will come up during the interview and consider ways that you can position yourself as the strongest candidate for the role.

#2: Dress well.

Carefully consider your interview attire and how it presents you professionally or not. Find something that suits your personality and style, but make sure it showcases your professionalism, too. Make sure your clothing is ironed/wrinkle free, free of stains or pet hair, and avoid things that are too tight or too loose. Taking time on your appearance shows that you are interested in the job and care about details.

In the message, reiterate your interest in the role and express your gratitude for their time and the opportunity to interview with them.
