Live-in Nanny Position UES New York

Family of three living on the Upper East Side in need of an experienced Nanny for their 2 year-old son.  Mom stays at home and is in and out during the day and Dad works everyday from the home office.

The ideal candidate will be someone who loves their profession and exudes positive energy. Additionally, you will know your place in the home and know when to give the parents privacy with their son and when to be more present. Although full housekeeping is not required, light housekeeping is expected. A nanny in this home should be able to detect the family’s needs and adjust appropriately.

Job work days hours are Monday-Friday. Some flexibility is needed to work an occasional weekend. Family also looking for a weekend nanny. A typical day can include taking the child to school in the fall, activities/playdates, preparing lunch and dinner, running occasional errands, tidying up around the home/after the child, and getting him ready for bed.

• Light housekeeping

• Arranging and facilitating playdates/activities

• Getting child ready for bed

• Experience working in a similar roll
• High energy level
• Experience with pre-school aged children
• Ability to work later/weekends
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally with the family
