Nanny Full Time/Live Out

Private family looking hire a Nanny to work with their family in their Clifton, Virginia home. 
 
During the summer a typical day would be: 12pm-7pm with the flexibility to stay later if something comes up or an activity runs late. This would entail taking the kids down to the pool (in their own backyard), picking them up from camp about 35 minutes away, doing fun summer activities, and just generally keeping an eye on them. During the school year a typical day would be: 3pm-7pm with days starting earlier if it is a holiday/snow day/sick day, etc. Otherwise it would be a 3:30pm pickup from their school approx. 35 minutes away (this is based on traffic and varies) and taking them to an after school activity or bringing them home to handle homework, supervise/give baths and showers, any general picking up of kids stuff or kitchen that needs to happen, help with dinner (maybe), and just general household things. Some of their activities may run later in the evening so someone flexible enough to stay later on certain days is important.
 
The ideal candidate will be someone flexible, experienced, and with a great sense of humor.

Position Responsibilities

  • Childcare: 2 Children, Ages 7 and 8 years old
  • Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required
  • Cooking: Plain Cooking Required
  • Laundry: No Laundry Required
  • Ironing: No
  • Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office,Etc
  • Driving: Required – must have reliable vehicle 
  • Travel: Domestic Travel Required

Position Requirements

  • Work Hours: 12PM – 7PM during the summer and 3PM to 7PM during the school year
  • Languages: English
  • Experience: Prior Experience
  • References: Minimum of 2 References
  • Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing
  • Pass Stringent Background Investigation
  • Good Clean Driving Record
  • Communicate via text/daily messages
  • Ability to work later

Position Compensation

  • Salary: $40,500 Yearly 
  • Living Accommodations: Live Out
  • Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Health Insurance: No
  • Additional Benefits: 2 weeks paid sick leave
