Nanny who is organized and likes to cook  position in Chelsea, NYC:

  • Location: Chelsea, New York City.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 30 hours/week with flexibility.  2 pm to 7 pm
  • During the summers's go to their home in the Hamptons 3 days a week during week.  Days are flexible.


  1. Childcare:

    • Foster a nurturing and educational environment for the 5-year-old daughter.
    • Engage in meaningful conversations that encourage her development.
    • Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities and playdates.
    • Assist with homework and educational tasks.
    • Encourage independence while ensuring her safety and well-being.
    • Help with night routine, reading with her before bedtime, helping get her school bag and clothes ready for the next day for school
  2. Transportation:

    • Pick up the child from school, a 5-minute walk from home around 2:30, and usually Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are later pick-ups due to school activities. 
    • Arrange and attend extracurricular activities, practices, and appointments.
    • Ensure safe and timely travel to various destinations.
  3. Meal Preparation:

    • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the child and family 
    • Encourage healthy eating habits and introduce new foods.
    • Handle mealtime routines and clean up afterward.
  4. Household Duties:

    • Maintain a tidy and organized kitchen area.
    • Oversee the family's laundry needs
    • Perform light housekeeping related to the child's spaces.

  • Fluent in English.
  • Prior in-home childcare experience in a similar setting.
  • Must pass stringent background checks and drug testing.
  • Minimum of 2 professional references.
  • Flexibility in work hours, including occasional late shifts.
  • Willingness to travel if required.


  • Salary range of $30 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Live-out position with no health insurance.
