Housekeeper or Nanny To Drive Son in Rittenhouse Square
Job Description:
A warm and welcoming family recently relocated to the vibrant Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia is seeking someone to do one of few options; either a full time housekeeper, who can drive her son (car provided) to and from school and activities, clean, and stay an occasional overnight with the family or a part time nanny/driver to drive the son to and from school and activities and stay overnight
Key Responsibilities For The Housekeeper:
- Laundry & Ironing: Ensure all clothing and linens are laundered, pressed, and neatly organized.
- Household Tidying: Keep the condo in pristine condition with regular tidying and organization. Must be able to make beds properly daily.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and monitor household supplies, ensuring essentials are always stocked.
- Supervision: Occasionally supervise the family’s 14-year-old son if no one is home, providing a responsible and caring presence.
- Deep Cleaning: For those seeking additional hours, perform thorough deep cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Drive their son to and from school and activities – he attends Germantown Friends School.
- Be available to stay overnight when the parents are traveling or out of town. Prior notice will be given.
Key Responsibilities For The Nanny:
- Ensure safety for the son when driving him to and from activities
- Assist when needed for late night or overnights
Ideal Candidate:
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Rittenhouse Square area is highly desired, ensuring seamless navigation and local resourcefulness.
- Afternoon to Early Evening Availability: Must be available to work afternoons and early evenings, aligning with the family’s schedule.
- Experience & Skills: Previous housekeeping experience is essential. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Dependable & Trustworthy: The family values reliability and integrity, seeking someone who can be a trusted member of their household.
- Flexible: Willingness to take on additional deep cleaning tasks for more hours is a plus.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
