High-End Housekeeper with Meticulous Attention to Detail – NYC and Greenwich, CT
TWO Housekeepers Needed!
Full-time, Can be Live In or Live Out, depending on the candidate's location
**Even for Live-In, the principal is looking for someone local to NY and/or CT!**
Candidates for this position must have prior experience and have worked at least 5 years in each position. Fluent English is required.
Residences are a duplex apartment in New York and a 3-story house in Greenwich, CT.
The employer resides in Greenwich from Independence Day to just after Labor Day. All of the staff go to Greenwich as well. They live in and go home on their two days off.
Work schedule:
This is a live-in position 5 days per week with 2 days off. *Days To be Determined.
Hours are 9:00. am – 9:30 pm, with a 4-hour break daily after lunch from 1 – 5 p.m. Work resumes at 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.
On the 5th day, the schedule is from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with no break, then the housekeeper leaves for her 2 days off.
Position Compensation:
Salary: $80-85K Annually, DOE, may be negotiable for the right candidate.
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation and 5 paid personal days after 1 year employment and 1 week paid year-end bonus. After 5 years there are 4 weeks of paid vacation, 5 paid personal days plus a 1-week year-end bonus.
There is no health insurance offered.
Paid holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The ideal individuals will work with class and poise and be comfortable working with a team of housekeepers. The Principal spends her summers living in Greenwich, CT, and the rest of the year in Manhattan. Must be able to live in during the 5 work days and go home on your two days off.
In the summer, you would work in Greenwich, CT, and the rest of the year you would work in Manhattan.

- Polish Brass Bannister Once A Week And/Or As Needed
LIBRARY:
- Vacuum, Dust, Polish Silver And Brass
LIVING ROOM:
- Vacuum, Dust, Polish Furniture
DINING ROOM:
- Vacuum And Dust
- Clean Mirrors: Note: Never Spray Windex Directly Onto The Surface. Spray Windex Onto A Paper Towel Or Cloth And Then Clean the Mirror
GYM:
- Remove And Replenish Poland Spring Bottles
- Remove the Blue Plastic Tab From Water Bottles Left On the Window Sill
- Remove Used Kleenex And Any Other Garbage
- Clean Floor, Window Ledges And Mirrors As Needed
GUEST BATHROOM:
- Clean Floor, Toilet, Sink, Mirrors & Counter As Needed, Check Daily
- Replenish Toilet Paper, Guest Hand Towels And Soap As Needed
- Note: Toilet Seat Lid Is Kept Closed Always
STAFF BATHROOM:
- 4 Times Per Week: Sanitize Floor, Toilet, Bathtub, Sink, Vanity MirrorSunday, Monday, Thursday And Friday
BACK HALLWAY:
- Daily Mop Floor
LAUNDRY & IRONING:
- Daily, When Needed, Except For Tuesday & Wednesday When The Laundress Is At Work
Additional Responsibilities:
**You Are Responsible For The General Maintenance Of The Following Appliances. If They Need Repair Or Have Missing Parts You Are To Marina Immediately.
- Washer & Dryer
- Iron & Ironing Board
- 2 Clothes Steamers
- Predators: Change Filters As Needed. NOTE: Put Date On Filter When It Is Changed
- Hepa Air Purifiers On The 4th Floor: Same As Above
**Maintenance of Sewing Baskets and All Their Contents
**Water Plants, Orchids As Needed, Usually Once A Week
Additional Notes:
- Must Step Into Any Position When A Staff Person Has A Day Off, Illness, Or Is On Vacation
- When A Staff Person Goes On Break Another Staffer Must Assume Their Position And Not Leave The Work For When The Other Staff Person Returns From Their Break

GUEST BATHROOM:
- Once A Week: Clean Floor, Toilet, Sink, Mirrors, and Sink Counter and Vanity As Needed
- Replenish Toilet Paper, Bath Towels And Soap As Needed
- Note: Toilet Seat Lid Is Always Kept Closed
- This Cleaning Is Done Daily When A Guest Is Staying Here
SITTING ROOM:
- Vacuum And Dust
- Keep Counters Clear And Tidy
HALLWAY:
- Vacuum
- Clean Glass On Framed Photographs: Note: Never Spray Windex Directly On The Glass. Spray Windex Onto a Paper Towel Or Cloth And Then Clean the Glass
MEDIA ROOM:
- Vacuum And Dust
- Dust Lacquered Walls
- Sofa Cushions And Pillow To Be Fluffed As Needed
MEDIA BATHROOM:
- 3 Times Per Week: Sanitize Floor, Toilet, Bathtub, Sink, Vanity Mirror
- Replace Linen Guest Towels As Needed
