Private Family Seeking Full-Time Nanny and/or Housekeeper | Live-In or Live-Out | Sands Point, NY
Compensation:
Hourly: $30–$40/hour DOE (Approx. $85,000–$100,000/year based on ~55 hours/week)
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, paid federal holidays, sick days
Accommodations: Live-in (private bed/bath, weekends off) OR Live-out
About the Role:
A warm, welcoming family is seeking either a Full-Time Housekeeper, a Full-Time Nanny, or a combination of both, depending on the candidate’s strengths and preferences. They have three children (ages 5.5, 3.5, and 1.5) and are hoping to find someone who can bring care, consistency, and organization to their home.
For Nanny Candidates:
They would love to find someone with recent experience caring for young children, who can help with daily routines, activities, and provide a loving, structured environment.
For Housekeeper Candidates:
They are equally open to hiring someone with strong experience in housekeeping for large homes, with responsibilities including family laundry, organization, general housekeeping, and light cooking or meal prep.
What Works Best for the Family:
They’re hoping for a long-term fit with someone reliable, proactive, and kind. Ideally, one person would handle both childcare and housekeeping—but they are happy to consider splitting the role between two people if needed. Driving is preferred but not required.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Live-in: ~7 AM–7 PM w/ midday break | Live-out: ~7 AM–6 PM (~55–60 hours/week)
Children: 3 (Ages 5, 3, 1)
Home Size: 7,000 sq ft | 1 dog
Duties: Childcare and/or housekeeping, laundry, meal prep/basic cooking (depending on role)
Driving: Preferred but not Required
Requested Duration: Long term
