Position: Nanny / Family Assistant (Live-In or Live-Out)

A dynamic, entrepreneurial family based in Weston, Connecticut is seeking a bright, polished, and deeply caring Nanny / Family Assistant to join their household team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a candidate who combines emotional intelligence, strong organizational instincts, and a genuine love for children and family life.
The family is open to both permanent candidates who can grow with them long term, as well as temporary candidates who can start immediately and assist with the family’s upcoming move and transition to Aspen, Colorado. Ideally, the person hired will start in Weston, CT and then relocate to Aspen with the family, but they are also open to someone who can support the move on a shorter-term basis until a permanent fit is found.
About the Family:
The family includes a devoted mother (a busy entrepreneur), father, and two wonderful children — a 15-year-old son with autism, supported by an experienced team of caregivers and therapists, and a 9-year-old daughter, who is spirited, athletic, and independent.
The main focus of this role is to support the parents and nurture a strong connection with the daughter, who thrives with focused attention and engagement.
The home also includes two friendly Labradoodles and a supportive household team, including housekeepers and a personal assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Child-Focused Care

Serve as the primary caregiver for the 9-year-old daughter — bright, sporty, funny, and full of energy.

Coordinate her daily schedule, including school drop-offs, after-school activities, and sports practices.

Create fun, enriching, and emotionally supportive experiences that help her grow and feel valued.

Prepare healthy snacks and simple, nutritious meals for the children.

Encourage independence, curiosity, and confidence through thoughtful attention and positive reinforcement.
Household Support

Manage light household duties related to the children (laundry, tidying, organizing).

Work collaboratively with housekeepers and the personal assistant to ensure seamless household operations.

Run errands, assist with travel preparation, and help maintain an organized, well-functioning home environment.
Lifestyle & Travel

Model and support a healthy, holistic lifestyle — familiarity with organic food, wellness, and natural living is ideal.

Assist with packing, logistics, and transitions during the move to Aspen, CO.
