Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper / Dog Sitter – ASAP in East Hampton
Position: Full-Time Live-In or Out Housekeeper / Dog Caregiver
Location: East Hamptons
Schedule: Year-round, live-in (or live-out if lives close by). Typically week day hours but occasional evenings or weekends may be required, especially during holidays or when the family is traveling so someone is there to care for the dogs.
Salary: Around $1,200–$1,800/week, may be flexible depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Children: None at home; dogs are the priority
About the Household
The household includes two Airedale Terriers (mid-50 lb range, loving but energetic) and a fully enclosed backyard. The dogs are very sweet and well-loved, and the ideal candidate will genuinely love dogs, be comfortable handling larger dogs, and interact and play with them regularly. The household is relaxed, easygoing, and values someone who is independent, proactive, and organized.
This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, keeps the household running smoothly without micromanagement, and is comfortable cooking for the household (2 people). Experience with laundry, ironing, meal prep, and cooking is needed.
Responsibilities

Daily care of the two dogs, including feeding, walking, and attention/playtime

Household housekeeping tasks (laundry, ironing, organization, full cleaning)

Prepping food for the dogs and cooking simple meals for the household; help with dinner parties if needed

Maintaining organization in the home and taking initiative on household projects (fridge, closets, etc.)

Running occasional errands or appointments (vet trips, groceries, etc.)

Being present in the house to ensure dogs are never left alone for extended periods

Flexibility to adapt schedule based on family travel, holidays, or personal activities
