Private Family in Boca Raton, FL Seeking a Homeschool Teacher
Position: Full-Time Homeschool Teacher (In-Person and Virtual)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 or 10:00 AM start (following standard school holiday schedule)
Salary: $55 – $90/hr ( could be more depedning on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Relocation: No – local candidates only
About the Family
A warm and family-oriented household in Boca Raton, FL (33496) is seeking an experienced and engaging Homeschool Teacher to educate three children — a kindergartener, a 3rd grader, and a 4th grader — with the ability to teach up to 5th-grade level preferred. The family spends part of the year in Puerto Rico; while they are there, lessons will take place virtually via Zoom.
They value a teacher who brings both kindness and structure — someone who can make learning fun while maintaining a sense of discipline and focus.
Children: Three (Kindergarten, 3rd Grade, and 4th Grade)
Pets: 2 dogs

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a creative and age-appropriate curriculum aligned with core academic standards

Provide individualized instruction for each child, adapting teaching methods to their learning styles

Maintain consistent routines and a positive, structured learning environment

Plan and lead educational outings and local field trips (a car is provided for use)

Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, goals, and achievements

Conduct lessons in person while the family is in Boca Raton and virtually via Zoom while they are in Puerto Rico

Organize lesson materials and maintain daily schedules

Follow the standard U.S. school holiday calendar

Requirements

Prior experience teaching in a homeschool or classroom setting

Strong understanding of early elementary curriculum (K–5)
