Position: Family Assistant
Location: Massapequa, NY (Primary Home) + Hampton Bays, NY (Summer Home)
Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12pm –6pm; Occasional Weekends; 30-35 hours

A busy family in Massapequa, NY is seeking a reliable, proactive, and child-friendly Housekeeper to help keep their home running smoothly. The household includes five children, a stay-at-home mom, and a dad who works from home but travels frequently. The ideal candidate is organized, calm, and takes initiative — someone who can maintain the home efficiently while also lending a hand with after-school routines, such as unpacking backpacks and keeping the children’s spaces tidy, all while working comfortably in the background.
Responsibilities:
- Laundry for the family (folding, organizing, putting away)
- Deep cleaning every 2 weeks
- Household organizing and restocking
- Running errands (groceries, returns, dry cleaning, etc.)
- Driving children to and from after-school activities
- Travel to Hampton Bays during summer (homes are 1 hour apart)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable, kind, and kid-friendly
- Proactive and thoughtful—able to anticipate needs
- Discreet, calm, and respectful of household boundaries
- Has a valid driver’s license + reliable personal vehicle
