Private Family in Oyster Bay, NY Seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper
Position: Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: 3 days per week (typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) up to about 25 hours per week, may be slightly flexible on exact hours/days
Salary: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found
About the Family
A warm and respectful family with a 10-year-old son is seeking an experienced and trustworthy Housekeeper to help maintain their home. Their housekeeper of over four years is retiring but will remain on to assist with training.
The home is well cared for, with the family maintaining their own tidiness as well as a crew coming every other Saturday to help clean areas that are used less often—this role focuses on the main living areas used daily.
Responsibilities

Cleaning and upkeep usually of primary spaces: kitchen, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and living areas

Laundry, ironing, and linen care

Taking clothing and sheets to the dry cleaner

Maintaining organization, discretion, and privacy

Using the house car for errands, if needed

Every other Saturday, additional housekeepers handle deep cleaning of lesser-used spaces (guest house, pool house, etc.)
