Our client, a lovely and warm family living on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper & Laundress (Live-In on Fridays in UES, Summer Live-In Full-Time Hamptons)
Location: Upper East Side / The Hamptons
You also must drive and have a current drivers license.
A private family on the Upper East Side is seeking an exceptional and trustworthy Housekeeper/Laundress to join their household in a long-term role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes great pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.
Schedule:
● Thursday–Monday, approximately 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Live-in on Fridays (overnight stay required) mainly to care for the family’s dogs
● Summer Schedule: Live-in full-time in the Hamptons from mid-June through Labor Day in September
Key Job Responsibilities:
● Full housekeeping duties: deep cleaning, tidying, and organization of all household areas
● Expert laundry and garment care, including ironing and wardrobe maintenance
● Managing linens and household inventory
● Dog care, including feeding, walks, and companionship when family is away
● Coordination with other household staff as needed
Qualifications:
● Prior experience working in a private home with verifiable references
● Strong attention to detail and discretion
● Excellent laundry and ironing skills
● Comfortable and affectionate with dogs
● Positive attitude, reliability, and integrity
● Willingness to live-in during summer and on designated days
Compensation: $40 – $45/hour
