Job Title: Housekeeper/Nanny — Purcellville, VA
Compensation: $35–$40/hour
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM)

About the Family
We are a warm, welcoming family of eight based in Purcellville, VA. Our home—currently undergoing an exciting expansion to 14,000 sq. ft.—will be completed by Spring 2026. Until then, we’re living in the pool house next door. With several children of varying ages, our household is lively, active, and family-focused. We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to become a steady and trusted presence in our home. Driving and a clean license is required.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-run household

Handle daily tidying, light cleaning, vacuuming, and basic household upkeep

Keep children’s rooms, play areas, and common spaces tidy and organized

Assist with light meal prep, dishes, and kitchen cleanup
-
Restock household supplies and help maintain order in busy areas
Note: A professional deep cleaning crew visits once a week (and possibly twice weekly), so this position focuses on daily maintenance and organization rather than heavy cleaning. The family also plans to bring on a laundress, as there is a large volume of laundry to manage.
Childcare Responsibilities

Pick up the 4-year-old from school at noon and the 10-year-old at 2:45PM

Provide nurturing, calm, and engaging care in the afternoons

Drive children to after-school activities such as gymnastics, piano, and other programs

Encourage creative play and unstructured downtime at home

Assist with snacks, light homework, and daily routines
