About the Family
A private family based in Manhattan, with frequent travel to the Hamptons and Greenwich, is seeking a polished, highly dependable Chauffeur to support their day-to-day transportation needs. They value punctuality, integrity, professionalism, and a calm, quiet demeanor. This role is best suited for someone mature, poised, and naturally discreet.
Vehicles: 2025 Mercedes 500
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, safe, and punctual driving for the family in Manhattan, Greenwich, and the Hamptons.
- Drive the wife daily, typically beginning around 1:00–1:30pm for errands, shopping, and appointments (Costco, specialty food stores, department stores).
- Evening driving as needed for dinners with friends, typically between 57th St and 81st St (never downtown).
- Weekend driving required occasionally.
- Maintain the family’s vehicles, including fueling, cleaning, covering cars, and taking vehicles in for scheduled maintenance.
- Run errands, pick up items, and bring purchases into the home when requested.
- Stage outside restaurants/locations and remain ready at the door; stand by 1.5–2 hours as needed.
- Provide door-to-door service, exit the vehicle to assist, and offer umbrellas in inclement weather.
- Keep the car at your home when required and ensure it is always safe and secure.
- Manage timing: provide the family with clear instructions about departure times to ensure punctual arrival (e.g., “If dinner is at 7:30pm, be downstairs at X time”).
- Uphold the highest level of discretion, honesty, and integrity.

- Is extremely punctual and reliable.
- Maintains a quiet presence — the husband prefers a silent atmosphere, and the wife engages only lightly.
- Has an “old soul in a young person’s body” — mature, grounded, and wise.
- Handles traffic with patience and grace; zero temper.
- Presents in a refined, appropriate manner (jacket and trousers; no tie required).
- Naturally anticipates needs, stays alert to surroundings, and is always ready before being asked.
- Holds themselves to the highest standards of honesty and character.
Requirements
- Prior chauffeuring experience for a private household or UHNW family.
- Excellent references.
- Legal to work in the United States.
- Clean driving record; experienced with luxury vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of Manhattan, Greenwich, and Hamptons routes.
- Able to work holidays if needed.
- Highly flexible schedule with no rigid time constraints.
