Private Family in East Hampton, NY Seeking a Nanny/Family Assistant
Position: Full-Time Live-In/Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm, flexible with occasional evenings or weekends
Salary: $35–$40 per hour through Payroll depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Relocation: No – local candidates only, must reside within a reasonable commute to residence
About the Family
Warm and welcoming busy professionals located in East Hampton, NY are looking to hire a dedicated proactive professional to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
- Children: Two children (G)3, (B)5.5 and another to arrive in 9 months
- Pets: One friendly 3.5 year old Yorkiepoo
- Household Staff: The family currently has Housekeepers:5 days/week for 2-6 hours/day and 2 part-time nannies, 1 to help with the kids pickup from school/activities, and the other to help with dinner/bedtime routine. This position will replace the 2 part-time positions.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare, plan educational activities, visit parks and museums
- Help with driving to/from school/after school pickups/activities
- Tidying of common areas, Light housekeeping related to children, organize play areas
- Light meal prep, simple easy meals for children

Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
- Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Driver’s license and clean driving record, Car provided for use
- Comfortable with pets
- Willing to travel occasionally, if needed. Additional compensation
