Position: Full-Time, Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~40 hours/week, split shift (6:30–9:00 AM & 2:00–7:00 PM)
Salary: $30 per hour  (room, board, food, and use of car included)

About the Family

A warm yet fast-paced private family located in Berwyn, PA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Nanny hybrid to support their household’s daily flow. They value discretion, reliability, proactive thinking, and someone who respects household boundaries and culture. This role is ideal for a calm, professional individual who thrives in structure and enjoys helping a busy home run smoothly.

• Children: Two children, ages 6 and 9

• Home Size: Spacious single-family home with basement living space for the nanny ( you can stay on your days off)

• Pets: One large Doberman mix—must be comfortable around big dogs

• Household Staff: A housekeeping crew comes every Monday for full housekeeping

Responsibilities

Childcare (Morning & Afternoon Blocks)

• Morning routine: wake-up, prepare breakfast and lunches, get children ready for school

• School drop-off (mornings) and pickup (afternoons)

• Afternoon routine: driving to activities, supervising children, preparing and serving kids’ dinner

• Provide general oversight and logistical support—children are school-aged and independent

Housekeeping & Household Support

• Daily light housekeeping of main areas

• Children’s laundry

• Keeping kids’ rooms, kitchen, and common spaces tidy

• Occasional errands such as grocery shopping

• Assist with general household flow; act as a second set of eyes

• Full deep-cleaning not required (crew comes Mondays)

The ideal candidate is calm, responsible, and grounded—someone who can maintain structure and support the parent’s leadership style. This family prefers someone who:

• Is calm rather than dominant—not an alpha personality

• Is professional, drama-free, and mature

• Brings positive, joyful energy to the children

• Communicates clearly and respectfully

• Understands boundaries and independence

• Doesn’t expect to be included in all family activities (this is not a sit-down family dinner environment)

Requirements

• Prior experience in a private household (hybrid nanny/housekeeper ideal)

• Strong, safe driving history (car provided; personal use permitted with notice)

• Excellent references

• Legal to work in the U.S.

• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain

• Comfortable with a large dog

• Organized, reliable, and able to manage a split-shift schedule

Nice to Have:

Compensation & Benefits

• $30/hour to start
