Children: Two children, ages 6 and 8

Household Staff: Deep cleaner every other week

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, engaging childcare for two children ages 6 and 8.

  • Create a fun, structured, and stimulating after-school environment.

  • Prepare healthy meals, complete meal prep, clean up after meals, and cook dinner for the entire family.

  • Handle child-related organization: tidy play areas, pack school items/lunches, manage activity bags, and maintain a smooth afternoon routine.

  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, pharmacy runs, and picking up or dropping off items.

  • Manage household tasks including returns, dropping off packages, exchanging items, and keeping track of miscellaneous to-dos.

  • Communicate clearly and consistently with the mother, providing updates and keeping her informed while she is at the office.

Ideal Candidate & Personality

The ideal candidate is proactive, responsible, and confident in their abilities. Someone who:

  • Has a warm, positive personality and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.

  • Takes strong initiative and naturally anticipates needs without being asked.

  •  keeping schedules, tasks, and supplies organized.

  • Loves planning fun, educational activities and connecting creatively with the children.

  • Communicates clearly and professionally—especially with a busy parent who wants to focus her time on the kids.

  • Maintains a calm, structured, and organized environment while being playful and nurturing.

  • Is seeking a long-term position and wants to become a trusted part of the household.
