Schedule: 40 hours per week, split shift

- Afternoon/Evening: 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Rate: $28-30/hr = $1,100 – $1,200 weekly

This warm family of four resides in the Berwyn, PA area. The household includes two school-aged children: a 6-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter. Both parents have growing careers that include periodic travel. The family is hands-on and involved and is seeking a professional who can support the household and daily routines.
The family has successfully worked with au pairs and nannies for many years and values professionalism, clear boundaries, honesty, and a calm, positive presence in the home.
Role Overview
This is a long-term, live-in position for an experienced nanny/housekeeper who is confident supporting school-aged children while also assisting with the day-to-day household tasks that help a home run smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.
Childcare Responsibilities

Assist with morning routines and ensure the children are ready and out the door by approximately 7:15 AM

School pickups (son at 2:00 PM, daughter at 3:15 PM)

Take children to and supervise after-school activities and provide homework support as needed

Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children

Encourage age-appropriate responsibility and independence

Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment

Provide occasional evening or date-night coverage

Serve as a trusted secondary caregiver when parents travel
Household Responsibilities

Daily tidying and household upkeep

Laundry throughout the week

Organization and maintenance of the children’s bedrooms

Organizing toy room, toys, seasonal clothing, and pantry

Light to moderate household cleaning; deep cleaning is completed by a weekly cleaner.

Basic meal preparation, including simple family-style meals such as pasta, pizza, chicken, salmon, tacos, fruits, and vegetables

Grocery assistance and kitchen organization related to prepared meals

Dog care support, including a 30-minute walk when possible (one family dog – Doberman mix)
Schedule & Compensation

Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Major holidays paid
- 2 weeks PTO and 5 sick days

Flexibility may be required when children are home from school
