Location: Oberlin, OH (with support at Bay Village and Marblehead homes)
Position Type: Part-Time, 25 hours per week (flexible 3–5 days/week depending on candidate preference)

Overview
A private family is seeking an experienced and passionate Farm-to-Table Private Chef to prepare fresh, gluten-free, seasonal meals using ingredients from the family farm. This position supports a household of 4 children and 2 parents, focusing on breakfast, lunch, and dinner preparation with menu planning tailored to family preferences and dietary needs.
Core Responsibilities
Meal Preparation & Cooking

Prepare fresh, seasonal, gluten-free meals using farm-grown ingredients, including produce, eggs, dairy, and meats

Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family

Prepare meals for special events or gatherings

Maintain proper food storage and preservation techniques – Canning, etc.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
Menu Planning & Inventory

Plan weekly and monthly menus tailored to family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal availability

Develop recipes that highlight the unique offerings of the family farm

Manage grocery shopping and pantry stocking

Track and maintain supplements, protein powders, and other specialty items for the client
Farm & Garden Support

Assist with garden and greenhouse care, including watering, weeding, and harvesting produce
