Startup & Multi-Business Environment

Position: Part-Time Social Media / Marketing Assistant (with Operations & Personal Support)
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week to start; flexible schedule. Options may include Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm, four longer days, or another agreed-upon structure. Opportunity to grow to 40 hours per week as workload expands.
Compensation: $30–$32 per hour, W2 to start, depending on experience
Benefits: No benefits at this time; benefits expected to be introduced as the company grows
Start Date: Flexible / ASAP


About the Role

An entrepreneur launching a new luxury consumer brand while actively managing multiple small businesses across retail, e-commerce, and real estate is seeking a Social Media / Marketing Assistant to support brand growth while also assisting with business operations and select personal tasks.

This role is ideal for someone from a social media, marketing, or brand coordination background who enjoys being close to the action in a startup environment. You will support digital presence, content execution, and brand initiatives while helping keep day-to-day operations and executive priorities organized.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. The right candidate will be proactive, organized, and excited to help build and scale a new luxury brand alongside existing ventures.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media, Marketing & Brand Support

  • Assist with social media management, primarily Instagram, including content coordination, scheduling, caption support, and use of social media management tools

  • Support the development and launch of a luxury consumer brand, ensuring brand consistency across digital platforms

  • Coordinate with freelance creatives, photographers, designers, and social media partners

  • Help manage content calendars, track deliverables, and organize assets

  • Support website updates, product launches, and digital content initiatives (Shopify or similar platforms; training provided if needed)

Business & Operations Support

  • Support day-to-day operations across multiple businesses, including retail, e-commerce, and real estate

  • Coordinate freelancers and external partners across marketing, design, development, logistics, and operations

  • Assist with e-commerce operations such as order fulfillment coordination, inventory tracking, and product updates

  • Conduct research, coordination, and logistics support for real estate-related projects

  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements to systems, workflows, and processes

Personal & Executive Support

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and day-to-day logistics for the founder

  • Assist with personal tasks as needed, including errands, meal coordination, and general life administration

  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper and problem-solver, anticipating needs and handling tasks with minimal oversight

  • Help bring structure and organization to a dynamic, multi-business environment


Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has a background or strong interest in social media, marketing, or brand support, combined with excellent organizational skills. They are comfortable wearing multiple hats and thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-moving environments.

You Are:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

  • Confident managing social media platforms and digital tools

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems independently

  • A strong communicator who can coordinate across creatives, vendors, and stakeholders

  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and a non-traditional work environment

  • Interested in branding, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, luxury or consumer products


Experience & Skills

  • Experience in social media, marketing, content coordination, or brand support strongly preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Instagram and digital platforms required

  • Experience with Shopify is highly valued

  • Startup, small business, or entrepreneurial experience is a plus

  • Eagerness to learn, execute, and take ownership is more important than a perfect resume
