A private family is looking for an experienced French-speaking ROTA Nanny to join their household and support their children’s care and development. This is a long-term, rotational opportunity well-suited for a confident career nanny with Montessori experience who is excited to work with a wonderful family.
Start: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, typical day 7 am-7 pm, Flexibility required based on family needs and travel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the two young children, ages 6 years old & 2 years old
- Speak French daily with the children to support language development
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational, creative, and outdoor activities
- Maintain children’s routines, schedules, and sleep hygiene
- Prepare children’s meals and snacks
- Manage children’s organization and nursery upkeep
- Travel with the family as needed
- Collaborate effectively with parents and household staff
- Maintain discretion, professionalism, and clear communication at all times
Requirements
- Fluency in French is required, as French is spoken daily with the children
- Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience in private households
- Prior ROTA experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of child development
- Proactive, organized, flexible, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable working in a private, high-profile household
- Valid passport and ability to travel
- Excellent, verifiable private-family references
