Gentleman in Los Gatos, California Seeking a Part-Time Personal Assistant / Companion
Position: Part Time, Live-Out Personal Assistant / Companion
Schedule: Thursdays and Fridays 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Travel with principal 2-3 times a year. (He is flexible on the 2 days worked if needed)
Salary: Competitive annual salary, approximately $38-$50 per hour commensurate with experience
Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate
Relocation: No – local or nearby candidates preferred
About the Principal
A private individual located in a remote, scenic area is seeking a dedicated, intelligent, and highly organized Personal Assistant / Companion. The principal remains active, enjoys tennis, fitness, gourmet cooking, and traveling. This is a long-term role for someone who values discretion, consistency, and meaningful work.
Home: 3,300 sq. ft. residence on 11 private acres
Household Staff: Professional housekeeper currently employed
Pets: 1 cat
Travel: Domestic and international travel approximately 2-3 times per year
Responsibilities

Provide companionship and social support, including shared meals at home or dining out

Coordinate and manage travel arrangements (domestic and international)

Accompany the principal on trips, charity events, and social engagements as requested

Run errands, grocery shop, and assist with household organization

Provide light housekeeping support (no heavy cleaning required)

Assist with scheduling, reminders, and general day-to-day organization

Serve as an emergency contact

Support flexibility in scheduling when special events or travel arise

Requirements

Prior experience as a personal assistant, companion, or similar role in a private setting
