Position Overview
A private family (2 adults and one 2-year old) on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Live-In Housekeeper to manage the daily upkeep and organization of their home. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently while supporting the household’s daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Home Care

Perform detailed, high-quality housekeeping throughout the home

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all living spaces

Manage and complete family laundry, including washing, folding, and proper storage

Maintain household inventory and monitor supplies

Replenish low or missing household items as needed

Order household supplies and items online (e.g., Amazon)
Pet Care

Walk and care for the family’s small dog as part of the daily routine
Meal Support

Assist with meal preparation as needed

Light cooking may be required occasionally; primary cooking is handled by the mother of the household
Requirements & Qualifications

Prior experience as a housekeeper or in a similar private household role

Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and organization

Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally and domestically

Comfortable with long workdays and a live-in arrangement

Able to manage household tasks independently and efficiently
