Private Family in Newtown, Pennsylvania Seeking an Educationally-Minded Career Nanny
Position: Full-Time Live-In or Live-Out Career Nanny
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. General schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Wednesdays and Thursdays 11:00 AM–6:00 PM; Fridays 11:00 AM–5:00 PM or similar. Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, travel, and schedule adjustments (with advance notice) is appreciated.
Salary: $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience ($83,000–$93,000 annualized based on 40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP – as soon as the family finds the right fit
Relocation: Yes – open to nationwide search for the right candidate

Living Accommodations:
Live-in or live-out. If live-in, the nanny will be provided a private bedroom with a walk-in closet and a full bathroom in the finished basement.
Responsibilities

Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for school-aged children

Support before- and after-school routines

Assist with homework and encourage educational growth

Engage the children in enriching activities that balance academics, sports, creativity, and play

Drive children to and from school, extracurriculars, and appointments

Coordinate daily schedules and activities

Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children

Grocery shopping related to children’s needs

Light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying and organizing their spaces

Travel with the family throughout the year, including to South Florida, Bay Head, NJ, and occasional international destinations

Provide occasional overnight coverage when the father is traveling for work

Assist with maintaining structure, routines, and positive behavior reinforcement

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience

Experience caring for children ages 5–10+

Bachelor’s degree

Prior experience traveling with families

Comfortable supervising children in and around water

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
