About the Family: A warm, welcoming family in Princeton, NJ is seeking a reliable, professional, and collaborative full-time nanny. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and brings a proactive, polished approach to childcare. The family has an established household team and is looking for someone who will integrate seamlessly and contribute positively to the home. They have two children: a healthy, sweet infant who will be the primary focus of this role, and a bright, engaging toddler who attends daycare full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the infant throughout the day
- Support age-appropriate developmental milestones through interactive and educational play
- Plan and attend outings such as music classes, library visits, and local activities
- Encourage stimulation, socialization, and time outside the home
- Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure smooth daily transitions
- Light housekeeping related to the children (dishwasher, tidying play areas, taking out trash)
- Children’s laundry and general day-to-day upkeep
- Weekly deep cleaning handled by a housekeeper
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional nanny or in an educational setting, with strong, verifiable references
- Highly reliable, punctual, and professional
- Collaborative and comfortable working alongside other household staff
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs
- Strong communicator who addresses issues thoughtfully and respectfully
- Experienced with infants and enjoys creating engaging, educational experiences
- Comfortable getting out of the house and planning structured activities
Compensation & Benefits: $45–$50/hour, depending on experience, 15 days PTO, 5 sick days
