Private Family in Bedford, New York Seeking a Full-Time Nanny – For Immediate Hire!
Position: Full-Time Nanny (Live-Out preferred; Live-In during the week open for the right fit)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, with flexibility for occasional later evenings (date nights) and a possible weekend day with advance notice
Salary: $35/hour, DOE (negotiable for the right candidate)
Start Date: ASAP – interviewing immediately with the goal of having someone in place by mid-February
Relocation: NO – local candidates preferred, though live-in during the week is open if helpful for commute
About the Family
A warm, kind, and welcoming family of three located in Bedford, NY, is seeking a loving and experienced nanny to care for their 18-month-old daughter. The family values kindness, reliability, and long-term commitment and is hoping to find a nanny who will grow with them for many years.
Children: One child, 18-month-old daughter
Home Environment: Both parents are involved, and mom is present at times during the day
Pets: No
Household Staff: A professional cleaning company visits weekly or every 1.5 weeks
Dad owns his own company and works outside the home, while Mom works from home and may be in and out throughout the day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a home where a parent is occasionally present and will feel confident taking full responsibility for the child during working hours.
Responsibilities

Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for the family’s toddler throughout the day

Engage the child in age-appropriate activities that support learning, growth, and creativity

Prepare the child for and put her down for daily naps

Feed pre-prepared meals (lunch and dinner) and clean bottles, dishes, and related items

Handle all child-related tidying and organization, including the child’s bedroom and playroom

Manage the child’s laundry from start to finish

Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for the child at all times

Travel domestically with the family on occasion, as requested
