Part Time Housekeeper

Daily / Each Visit

• General tidying and organization of all rooms

• Dusting surfaces, décor, baseboards, and window sills

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs

• Sweeping and mopping hardwood or tile floors

• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)

• Kitchen cleaning (counters, stovetop, sink, appliance exteriors)

• Taking out trash and recycling

• Making beds and refreshing linens as needed

Weekly / Rotational Deep Cleaning

Laundry Management 

This person would be expected to fully manage household laundry, including:

Washing & Folding

• Sorting laundry by fabric and color

• Washing, drying, and properly folding clothing and linens

• Caring for delicates appropriately

• Managing household linens (sheets, towels, guest bedding)

Dry Cleaning Management

• Identifying garments that require dry cleaning

• Keeping a separate, organized dry-clean pile

• Dropping off and picking up from local dry cleaners

• Tracking tickets and ensuring items are returned correctly

• Checking garments for stains before sending out

Ironing & Steaming

• Ironing dress shirts, blouses, slacks, and linens

• Steaming delicate garments

• Properly hanging and organizing pressed clothing

• Preparing clothing for events or business travel if needed
