Private Family in Greenfield Center, NY Seeking a Housekeeper
Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 40+ hours/week (flexible shifts: 9am–5pm, 10am–6pm, or 11am–7pm), anything over 40 hours is time and a half
Salary: Starting at $30+ per hour paid through payroll, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right fit)
Relocation: No – local candidates preferred
About the Family
A warm and welcoming private family located in Greenfield Center, New York is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Housekeeper to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.
Children: Two teenagers
Home Size: 15,000 sq ft residence
Pets: Five dogs
Household Staff: Three additional full-time housekeepers and a full-time private chef
Responsibilities
- Perform full-charge housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and deep cleaning
- Maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of a large home
- Laundry care including washing, folding, putting away clothes, and changing bed linens
- Assist with daily upkeep of kitchen and common areas
- Help care for household dogs, including feeding, administering medication, and letting them in/out throughout the day
- Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Go above and beyond to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

Requirements
- at least 7 years of prior experience in a similar role in a private household
- 2 Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks efficiently in a large home
- Comfortable working in a home with multiple pets (5 dogs)
- Team player with a reliable and professional demeanor
