Position: Part-Time Nanny / Housekeeper (Live-Out)
Location: Norwalk, CT
Schedule: 3 full days per week (flexible on which days)
Compensation: $40 per hour
Start Date: Mid-April 2026
Family Overview
A warm and welcoming family in Norwalk is seeking a nurturing, experienced nanny to care for their infant while also assisting with light household tasks. The family currently has a night nurse whose contract concludes in mid-April, and they are looking for someone to transition into a daytime role who can provide attentive, loving care and grow with their family over time.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for an infant, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Support age-appropriate development and maintain consistent routines
- Assist parents by providing coverage for work and appointments
- Handle infant-related tasks, including bottle prep, feeding, diapering, and maintaining sleep schedules
- Perform light housekeeping during naps, including:
- Baby laundry and occasional household laundry
- Tidying common areas and nursery
- Light organization
Ideal Candidate
- Highly experienced with infants (newborn/infant care is the top priority)
- Warm, “motherly,” and genuinely enjoys caring for children
- Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family
- Flexible and easygoing with scheduling
- Arabic and/or French-speaking strongly preferred
Requirements
- Prior professional infant care experience
- Strong references
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with light housekeeping duties
