Position: Part-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 9:00 AM – 2:00/3:00 PM (25–30 hours/week)
Salary: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience

A private household in Greensboro, NC is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support an older woman and her adult daughter, who serves as her full-time caregiver. The family is looking for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and takes pride in maintaining a beautifully organized and well-run home. This is a calm, respectful environment where reliability and initiative are highly valued.
Home Size: 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath townhome
Pets: One small dog
Responsibilities
- Full-charge housekeeping including deep cleaning and daily upkeep of the home
- Expert-level laundry care, including:
- Sorting garments for dry cleaning vs. delicate washing
- Handling high-end and delicate clothing with care
- Ironing sheets and clothing to a high standard
- Extensive clothing organization and closet upkeep
- Running errands as needed (dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up, household items, etc.)
- Maintaining overall organization and cleanliness of all living spaces
- Occasional light assistance to the principal (e.g., helping her get dressed or assisting her from a seated position if the daughter is unavailable)
- Pet-friendly support (light care for a small dog if needed)
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in private homes with high standards of care
- Strong knowledge of garment care, especially with delicate and high-value clothing
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes initiative without needing direction
- Professional, discreet, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a home with an older adult and providing occasional light assistance if needed
- Valid driver’s license and ability to run errands
