Position: Full-Time Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday with morning and afternoon coverage; the client is very flexible
- Weekdays (Wed–Fri):
Morning: ~7:00–9:00 AM
Afternoon/Evening: ~3:30–8:30 PM - Weekends (Sat–Sun):
~12:00–8:00 PM (flexible, with preference for coverage)
Family is flexible and values open communication around finding a schedule that works for everyone.
Salary: $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience – Paid through a payroll company
Start Date: As soon as possible, flexible for the right fit
About the Family
A warm and welcoming single mother in Villanova, PA, is seeking a dedicated and professional live-in nanny and housekeeper to join her home. She is looking for someone patient, reliable, and genuinely interested in becoming part of the family long term.
Children: One child, eight years old, with special needs
Home Size: Large private residence
Pets: One small, friendly nine-pound Cavapoochon
Household Staff: Deep cleaning team in place
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaged care for an eight year old boy with special needs
- Manage morning routine including preparing breakfast and walking him to the bus at the end of the driveway
- Meet him from the bus around four in the afternoon and assist with activities, play, and evening routine
- Support hygiene including bathing and general daily care
- Encourage routine, development, and engagement through structured and active play
- Prepare healthy, well rounded meals for the child with a focus on nutrition.
- Handle light housekeeping, including laundry, kitchen upkeep, playroom organization, and general tidying – Family has cleaners who will clean the home.
- Run errands, including grocery shopping and household needs
Maintain overall organization and assist in keeping the home running smoothly

They should be energetic and engaging, while also able to provide structure and consistency. A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential. Requirements
- Prior experience working in a private home, ideally with special needs experience
- Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Comfortable with a small dog
- Willing to travel and live in at the family’s shore residence during the summer months
