Preferred days: Monday–Wednesday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Preferred hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible for the right candidate)
Compensation:
$40–$50 per hour, depending on experience

About the Family
A private, professional couple based in Henderson, NV is seeking a proactive and highly organized House Manager to support the smooth day-to-day operation of their home. The household is adult-only with no children and includes 3 beloved dogs (2 doodles and one Chihuahua).
The principals value discretion, efficiency, and a self-starter mentality. The female principal runs two companies and maintains a very busy schedule, so the home requires someone who can take initiative and independently manage responsibilities without constant direction.
This is a quiet, private household looking for a long-term fit with room for growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage household errands including grocery shopping and general weekly tasks
- Maintain organization of key areas, including the kitchen, primary closet, and other rooms in the home
- Perform light laundry duties
- Assist with light food preparation and basic kitchen upkeep
- Coordinate and schedule pet care appointments (grooming, veterinary visits)
- Oversee general household flow and ensure day-to-day needs are handled efficiently
- Identify tasks proactively and execute them without needing detailed instruction
- Communicate clearly with the principals regarding updates, needs, or issues
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in an autonomous role. They are organized, efficient, and take pride in managing a home seamlessly behind the scenes. This individual should be a quick learner and fast mover who can anticipate needs and handle tasks independently.
Strong communication skills are essential. The principals appreciate direct, clear communication and are seeking someone who is confident in speaking up when needed. A positive, “go-getter” attitude and a natural ability to take ownership of responsibilities will be key to success in this role.
A genuine love for dogs is a must, as pets are an important part of the household.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar private household or house management role
- Excellent professional references
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a home with multiple dogs
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication skills with a direct and professional approach
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
