Private Long Island Family seeks a Housekeeper to assist in maintaining their Oyster Bay, NY estate.   The desired individual will work Monday – Friday and live on the property full-time.  The family would also consider a Monday – Friday candidate who could live-in 3 work days and live out 2 work days and go home on the weekends.  
 
The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the residence, be comfortable with dogs as there are several dogs in residence, family laundry and home organization.
 

Other responsibilities:

• Answering the telephone, door and gate as well as receiving guests
• Proper care of china and fine linens
• Collecting mail and accepting deliveries
• Pet care

Requirements:

• Private home housekeeping
• Speak excellent English.
• Two plus years of relevant work experience as a Domestic
• Knowledge of how to clean and care for antiques, art, fine rugs and draperies.
• Demonstrated history of building long-term and trusted relationships with references available.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion surrounding sensitive information.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly professional, self-motivated and organized.
• Adept at receiving and carrying out directions.
• Positive attitude, loyal and honest.
• Flexible personality with an ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license
• All who apply must have a clean background check and legal status to work in the U.S. Must have past work experience in the domestic industry with at least 3 verifiable references.
