Housekeeper

We are seeking to hire two experienced and dependable Housekeepers to join our family's household in Nassau County, New York (Manhasset). One housekeeper will be Full Time and the other will be Part Time. They will work as a team along with the families current Live In Housekeeper. The ideal candidate should have a track record of providing exceptional housekeeping services with attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized home. A valid driver's license is required as the role may involve occasional errands and transportation of family members.

Responsibilities:

1. General Housekeeping: Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks throughout the household to maintain a tidy and comfortable living environment. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing various surfaces.

2. Laundry and Ironing: Manage the family's laundry needs, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes and linens.

3. Organization: Ensure all rooms are well-organized, clutter-free, and items are appropriately stored. Maintain order in closets, cabinets, and storage spaces.

4. Meal Assistance: Assist with light meal preparation when needed, such as chopping vegetables, setting the table, or making simple dishes.

5. Grocery Shopping: Occasionally run errands, including grocery shopping and picking up household supplies.

6. Occasional Driving: Transport family members to appointments or activities as needed, using the provided vehicle.

7. Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with family members to address any specific housekeeping requests or changes in household routines.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality: Respect the family's privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding all household matters.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a housekeeper in private residences, with a strong track record of reliable and high-quality service.

2. Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to cleaning and organization, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

4. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively.

5. Trustworthiness: Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

6. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying schedules and occasional overtime, as needed.

7. Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy objects when required.

8. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

9. Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $35-$40/hour
