The Ideal Candidate: The family is in search of an experienced and compassionate nanny to provide exceptional care for their infant daughter. Both parents work remotely from home, emphasizing the need for collaborative teamwork and effective communication. The family places a strong emphasis on an engaged and nurturing environment for their baby, promoting growth, development, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will assume the role of a dedicated caregiver, ensuring the infant daughter's needs are met with utmost care and attention. During the baby's awake hours, the nanny will actively participate in interactive play, cognitive stimulation, and nurturing activities. During periods of rest or when the baby is with her mother, the nanny will also contribute to household child tasks. As the baby matures, the nanny will facilitate her involvement in various classes and playdates. Someone who is well versed on all the things (Montessori, different forms of sleep training, BLW, purees, different parenting styles) is a must. The family wants a Nanny who is experienced, can teach them along the way and help them find their preferences. No pets in the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to the infant
- Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities to create an enriching and stimulating environment.
- Execute light child related housekeeping duties during downtime, contributing to a tidy and organized living space.
- Collaborate with parents to track developmental milestones and adhere to their preferred methodologies, such as Montessori principles.
- Display excellent communication skills to maintain an open dialogue with parents, sharing updates on the baby's progress and needs.
- Assist in coordinating the baby's participation in scheduled classes and playdates, nurturing her social interactions and learning journey.
- Prioritize the baby's safety and well-being, adapting caregiving practices to accommodate her evolving requirements.
What Works Best for Family: Demonstrated experience as a nanny or in a related childcare capacity, showcasing a deep understanding of infant care and development. Proficiency in childhood development principles, enabling the implementation of age-appropriate activities conducive to learning and growth. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with parents, adapting to their preferences while maintaining open lines of communication. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred). Position Compensation
- Salary: $35+/hour depending on experience
- Living Accommodations: Live Out
