The Ideal Candidate: Client is seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join their family as a Tutor/Nanny for their three wonderful children, aged 12, 9, and 5. The primary focus of this role is to provide academic support to their 9-year-old, who is in a grade-ahead program and needs assistance to catch up with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be patient, organized, and able to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This role requires a balance between tutoring and nanny responsibilities, with an emphasis on academic support for the 9-year-old.The candidate should be willing to engage the children in both fun and educational activities, encouraging their growth and development. No pets are present in the household. The 12yr old is pretty self-sufficient, the 5yr old is in a program until 6PM. Primary care is for 9yr old and tutoring. Responsibilities:
- Provide academic assistance and tutoring primarily to the 9-year-old in subjects where they may be behind due to the advanced curriculum.
- Assist with homework assignments, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Create engaging and educational activities that make learning enjoyable for the children, balancing educational tasks with playtime.
- Pick up and drop off the children from school as required.
- Additional house management tasks are a plus if someone is interested in more hours. The first focus of this role is tutoring.
- Occasionally drive the children to appointments or extracurricular activities.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for the children's well-being.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children in a similar age range.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to create structured learning plans.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to tailor teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Responsible and reliable, with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Enthusiastic, creative, and able to make learning enjoyable through interactive methods.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Position Requirements
- Work Hours: 1PM-7PM M-F Primary needs are 3PM-7PM, if someone wants more hours they will offer 30 hours a week.

Position Compensation
- Salary: $30-$38/hour
