Recently relocated family in the Dallas area, seeking a nurturing and dedicated Full-Time Nanny to care for their6-month-old baby and provide support for a 7-year-old child after school. They need someone to create a loving and engaging environment for their children while ensuring their developmental milestones are met.
Responsibilities: As a Full-Time Nanny, you will play a vital role in the family's daily routine, focusing primarily on the care of the 6-month-old baby. Your responsibilities will include:
- Childcare: Providing attentive and loving care to the 6-month-old, including feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime.
- Engagement: Creating stimulating and age-appropriate activities to promote the baby's cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Developmental Milestones: Tracking and assisting in hitting key developmental milestones through appropriate activities and interactions.
- Collaboration: Working in partnership with the mother to ensure the baby's needs are met and to provide support when the mother has social functions and other obligations.
- Transportation: Occasionally transporting the 7-year-old to and from school and extracurricular activities as needed.
- Light Household Tasks: Assisting with light housekeeping related to the children's needs, such as tidying up play areas and doing the baby's laundry.
Requirements:
- Childcare Experience: Prior experience caring for infants and young children, with a focus on infant care and development.
- Energy and Patience: Possessing a high level of energy, patience, and a genuine love for children.
- Engagement Skills: Ability to interact creatively with the baby, facilitating educational and fun activities.
