Family Description: We are a loving and busy family located in Pittsford, NY, seeking a dependable and proactive Nanny to help care for our four wonderful children, aged 11, 10 (twins), and 6, as well as our three beloved dogs. We are looking for someone who can become an integral part of our family, providing support, organization, and care to ensure our household runs smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:

Morning Routine (7:00 AM – 8:15 AM):

  • Arrive at 7:00 AM to assist with morning preparations.
  • Oversee the children's morning routine, including wake-up, breakfast, and getting ready for school.
  • Let the dogs out and ensure they are fed and watered.
  • Ensure the children have completed their homework and have all necessary school materials.
  • Assist in getting the children ready and ensure they are prepared to catch the school bus at 8:15 AM.

Daytime Responsibilities (8:15 AM – 11AM  (Break from 11-2:30) Back at 2:30:

  • Proactively plan and manage the family calendar, keeping track of important events, appointments, and activities.
  • Assist with household management tasks, including grocery shopping, errands, and coordination of after-school activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized home by tidying up throughout the day.
  • Assist with the children's laundry and ensure their rooms are organized.
  • Monitor and assist with homework completion and provide educational support as needed.
  • Go through the children's backpacks, ensuring all school-related materials are organized and signed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, following any dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
  • Engage the children in age-appropriate activities and playtime.
  • Encourage a positive and respectful atmosphere within the household.

Day typically ends at 6:30PM/7:00PM. 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a nanny 
  • Comfortable with pets and able to care for dogs, including letting them out, feeding, and providing basic care.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and able to anticipate the family's needs.
  • Patience, warmth, and a nurturing personality.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
