Household Manager / Housekeeper needed ASAP In Eagle, ID

A private family is in search of a responsible and dedicated Household Manager/Housekeeper to join their bustling household for 30 hours per week. This position offers a unique opportunity for a professional just starting their career or for a tenured candidate. The Household Manager/Housekeeper will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home's cleanliness and organization, allowing the family to manage their various commitments seamlessly. This role requires a detail-oriented and adaptable individual who can efficiently oversee the household's operations.


  1. Cleaning: The Household Manager/Housekeeper is responsible for performing general cleaning tasks to maintain the entire home's cleanliness and tidiness. This includes vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

  2. Laundry: The role entails managing all laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.

  3. Dishes: Ensure that dishes are promptly washed, dried, and put away after meals.

  4. Housekeeping: Oversee the overall organization and cleanliness of the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

  5. Assist with Dinner: On occasion, the Household Manager/Housekeeper may be required to assist with dinner preparations and cleanup.

  6. Attention to Detail: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the household.

  7. Seasonal Adjustments: Flexibility is required with regard to the schedule, as the family travels to Florida for several months of the year. However, the candidate's hours and pay will remain consistent year-round.


  1. Work Environment: This position involves working in a home where the family works from home, and there are children present, candidate must be comfortable working around the family.

  2. Children: There are seven children in the household, ranging in age from 9 to 22, who may come and go. The position does not include nannying or babysitting responsibilities, however, the Household Manager may be left alone with the children while the parents are gone.

  3. Hours: The role requires 30 hours per week.

  4. Compensation: The salary for this position is $30 per hour.

  5. Leave: Two paid time off (PTO) days and five days off per year.

Position Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping: Full detailed housekeeping and deep cleaning
  • Cooking: On rare occasion
  • Laundry: Full family laundry required
  • Ironing: As needed

Position Requirements

  • Work Hours: 10am-4pm or 11am-5pm = 30hrs per week
  • Languages: English
  • Experience: 3+ Years of Experience
  • References: Minimum of 2 Relevant References
  • Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

Position Compensation

  • Salary: $30/hr x 30hrs week = $900/Weekly
