Housekeeper

We are a family of three, relocating to a smaller home in St. Paul, Minnesota, and we are in search of a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Housekeeper who can also assist with light childcare responsibilities for a 7 and 5-year-old children. The ideal candidate should be skilled in maintaining a clean and organized home, as well as providing a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. If you speak Portuguese or Spanish, that is a significant advantage, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Housekeeping:

1. Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our home.
2. Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping all rooms.
3. Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom areas.
4. Laundry, including washing, folding, and ironing as needed.
5. Making beds and changing linens regularly.
6. Keeping the home's interior organized and clutter-free.
7. Shopping for groceries and household supplies as required.

Childcare:

1. Assist with school pick-ups and drop-offs, and transportation to extracurricular activities.
2. Prepare and serve simple and nutritious meals and snacks.
3. Engage in age-appropriate activities and playtime with the children.
4. Help with homework and support their learning and development.
5. Maintain a positive and nurturing environment for the kids.

Additional Duties:

1. Light meal preparation and cooking.
2. Running errands and grocery shopping.
3. Occasional weekend flexibility is a plus.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a housekeeper with childcare experience, preferably in a family setting.
2. Knowledge of housekeeping and childcare best practices.
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
5. Flexibility in terms of scheduling.
6. Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish (highly preferred but not mandatory).
7. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if transportation is required).

Working Hours:

The schedule is flexible and will be discussed with the candidate, but we expect flexibility in return. Some weekend flexibility is a significant advantage, as our family may require occasional weekend assistance.

Salary and Benefits:

$30-$35/hour DOE
