We are seeking an experienced and caring Nanny to join our family in Bedford Hills. This position is designed to provide comprehensive care for two young teenagers, a 15-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl. The role requires a dynamic individual who can adapt to the fluid nature of the position, offering support and guidance during crucial teenage years.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with the teenagers in age-appropriate activities.
- Provide transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, and social events.
- Assist with homework and ensure academic responsibilities are met.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the teenagers.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in parenting style and rules.
- Manage the teenagers' schedules, including appointments and social commitments.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the teenagers.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday with flexibility.
- Morning shift: 6 am to 10 am, Monday to Friday.
- Evening shift: 4 pm to 10 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Approximately 50+ hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a structured and stimulating environment for teenagers.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
Requirements:
- Local candidates preferred due to the specific shift requirements.
- Easy commute to be able to go home during the day.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the teenagers and the family.
