Job Description:

Our family in Webster, New York is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our household team. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining our 7,222 sq. ft. three-level home with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, ensuring it remains a clean, organized, and comfortable living space.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of the entire house incrementally throughout the week, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

  2. Laundry: Manage daily laundry needs, ensuring all clothing and linens are washed, folded, and put away promptly.

  3. Meal Prep: Assist with meal preparation for the family. While the wife enjoys cooking, the candidate should be capable of having ingredients prepped and ready for her.

  4. Bedding: Change and launder bedding weekly, maintaining a fresh and inviting atmosphere in bedrooms.

  5. Grocery Shopping: Conduct grocery shopping three times per week, ensuring the household is well-stocked with necessary supplies.

  6. Errands: Handle various errands such as dropping off and picking up items, contributing to the smooth functioning of the household.

  7. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance tasks, ensuring the house is well-maintained.

  8. Dry Cleaning: Manage weekly dry cleaning needs, ensuring clothes are handled with care and returned promptly.

  9. Organization: Keep drawers, cupboards, and other storage spaces organized and orderly.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable around dogs, as the household has two dogs (a 2-year-old Doberman and an 8-year-old Miniature Pincher).

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
