Single dad in Jackson, NJ is looking to hire a dynamic and responsible Live-In Family Assistant to support his 4-year-old son who is in pre-school during the day.
The candidate will have a flexible schedule, as the job revolves around the child's custody schedule. The working hours are from 7 am to 7 pm for a total of 36 hours, however some weeks may demand more or fewer hours. Must also be available 2 weekends/month. Days worked will be anywhere from 3-5 days total per week.
Responsibilities:

Childcare:
- Provide care and supervision for the 4-year-old son.
- Drop off/pick up from school.
- Prepare easy and nutritious dinners for both father and son.

Household Management:
- Run errands, manage inventory, and stock household supplies.
- Keep the home tidy and organized, complementing the weekly deep cleaning service.
- Handle laundry and other light household duties.

Driving:
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Use the provided car for errands and transportation as needed.

Living Arrangement:
- Reside in a brand new, fully equipped apartment in the basement with a separate entrance.
- Enjoy a private living area, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.

Communication:
- Maintain open and clear communication with the single dad regarding scheduling and any other relevant information.

Personal Qualities:
- Be upbeat, energetic, and possess a thick skin to handle the challenges that may arise.
- Must know how to swim.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and be a good communicator.

Experience:
- Previous experience in childcare and household management is preferred.

- A valid driver's license is a must. Car will be provided.

Benefits:
Salary: $55k – $65k + DOE
(paid weekly regardless of number of hours worked each week)
