Seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join a household located in Washington, DC!
The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our modern home with a focus on intricate details and care. Daily responsibilities include routine floor work, such as sweeping, wood polishing, and Swiffering, as well as regular vacuuming due to the shedding of our golden retriever, Biscuit. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for starting and managing laundry, doing dishes, and assisting with basic cooking tasks. The role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, particularly when caring for delicate elements like white oak flooring, marble countertops, moldings, and black lacquer cabinets.
What Works Best for Family: Our family values a helping hand and appreciates someone who loves to pitch in when needed. With three children in the home (Ages 11,10,6), patience is essential. This is a single adult household. Flexibility is key, as occasional errands, including driving to the cleaners, may be required. The house is designed with an open concept and features two kitchens, demanding efficient management and cleaning. The candidate should approach the role with a proactive and adaptable mindset, caring for our home as if it were their own.
