A Very Active Family is looking to hire a NANNY/ HOUSEKEEPER in RUMSON, NEW JERSEY.
This could be a Live Out position working Monday to Friday, 2 pm to 8 pm, or the option to Live-In position from Monday to Friday, own private room. (live-in you would help in the mornings with the kids and long breaks during the day and start the day around 2:pm to 7:30 pm)
The Ideal Candidate: The Family has 4 children ages 5, 7, 9,11. The responsibilities are largely after school and include driving kids to activities with the help of carpooling some of the kids stay after school for activities and only need to be picked up, helping with homework, making weekly kids' meal plans, and prepping/starting dinner, healthy snacks after school, family laundry (cleaners also help with laundry), tidying up any mess made during the day, load and empty dishwasher, pack kids snacks and water bottles for next day, grocery shop for kids snacks, meals and odds and ends. Let the dog in and out of the house, and feed the dog dinner. They have an electric dog fence.
What Works Best for Family: The single characteristic that the family values most is someone who is proactively helpful, and can anticipate what’s needed. The Candidate should be organized, positive, and can juggle the needs of multiple children and a dog. Mom has flexibility with work and will help on the days when one person can’t handle all the activities. Some days though, the caregiver will be responsible for all activities.

Position Requirements
- Work Hours: Mon- Fri 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Years of Experience: 4 plus
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

Position Compensation
- Salary: $30 to $35/hr (DOE)
- Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
