We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable live in Nanny/Housekeeper to join a family located in Vienna,VA. The primary responsibility will be caring for the youngest child during the day, while also managing household tasks and assisting with the older children's needs when they are home. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and comfortable with occasional travel. The kids are 5, 7, and 18 months old. The mom is a stay at home mom and very involved in kids lives, she volunteers a lot at schools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for the 18-month-old child during daytime hours.
- Assist with drop-offs and pickups for the older children who are in school full-time only while you are not supervising the child.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying up, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home.
- Care for the family's Bernadoodle dog, including feeding, walks, and general care.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for the children.
- Occasionally stay with the children for weekends when the parents travel, including overnight stays.
- Remain flexible and available for additional hours on weekends when needed.
- The family values teamwork and a collaborative approach to childcare and household management.
Qualifications:
- Work Days: Monday – Friday, availability on some weekends
- Languages: English
- Experience: 5 Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
- Driving: Required, car provided
- Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Accompany the family on trips to Miami twice a month and summer travel to Virginia, Delaware, and occasional trips to Texas.
Salary: $30 – $40 per hour, paid through payroll
