Private family in Northern Virginia (Alexandria) is in search of a Live In Nanny/Housekeeper to support her with the children's daily activities and educational crafts and outings. This also includes diapering, bathing, feeding two children (6 month and 20 month).
She also needs help with household chores such as laundry, linens, grocery shopping, meal prep and planning, and kitchen cleaning duties during the day. She is looking to share/flex these duties between herself and the Nanny on different days for children's activities and household activities. Mom is looking for someone mature and well mannered that can take the children to country club events, pools, and activities with or without mom during the summer. They also travel to their lake home in the Fredericksburg region and will want the Nanny to stay with them there for short trips through the year. Ideally, she would have the nanny travel with them to support her while her husband is on work travel or when they take vacations (Florida, Ireland, Bermuda). Passport would be required.
What Works Best for Family: "I am looking for a mature, self-motivated individual who can confidently take on the childcare or house assignments and anticipate the needs for the day. The individual will have the skill to balance between taking a lead in certain tasks and also following specific instruction. Eventually they would be alone with the children for extended periods of time and be trustworthy and responsible. I would also like someone with hosting experience that could help me prepare for parties and gatherings at the home or at least provide extended childcare coverage during hosted events."
