Single woman is seeking a diligent Part-Time Housekeeper to maintain a spacious home in the vibrant West Village of NYC. The household comprises a single woman, her teenage son 50% of the time, and two cherished large dogs.
Must be comfortable with large very friendly dogs and occasionally let them outside on the terrace when the Principal isn’t home.
Principal is looking for someone part time but is open to offering more hours for the the right candidate and can also be flexible with the working days.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough cleaning of the open concept home featuring 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms throughout the residence.
- Laundry duties encompassing clothes, sheets, towels, and linens.
- Dishwashing and kitchen maintenance.
- Occasional assistance with pet care and upkeep of the outdoor area.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate the unique demands of the household.
- Occasional errands.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a high end home.
- Calm, relaxed and trustworthy.
- Must be detailed and thorough.
Requested Duration: Indefinitely
Position Requirements
- Work Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (open to offering more hours and flexible on the days)
- Rate: $35/hour + DOE
