  • Summers: Wednesday – Sunday or Thursday – Monday: 9am – 5pm. Or Thursday – Sunday 9am – 7pm
  • Other months: Flexible but 40 hours.

About the Family: Highly private family of 5 residing in Montauk for the summers, mostly on the weekends. 2 Dads and 3 high school age children. End of July and August they live there full time. The rest of the summer is weekends. The winter schedule is more flexible as they are occasionally at the home on weekends October-May. 

Job Description: Professional A+ Executive Housekeeper to manage the housekeeping of a large formal home in Montauk. This role requires a highly experienced individual with a proven track record of running a household, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Executive Housekeeper will ensure the home is in perfect condition at all times, manage laundry and ironing, dusting, vacuuming, deep cleaning, and assist with prepping light breakfast and serving food left by the chef. The responsibilities will overlap with the family housekeeper from Manhattan. Must be able to work independently, have a take charge attitude, and work as a team with another housekeeper and chef. Additionally, occasional assistance helping with tv app stream troubleshooting and/or passwords. This is a live out position and must live locally and within driving distance to Montauk. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping:

    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of a large 5-bedroom home.
    • Perform all aspects of housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
    • Launder and iron clothing, linens, and other household items.
    • Will overlap Housekeeping tasks with family's Housekeeper from NYC.
  • Home Management:

    • Ensure the home is kept in immaculate condition at all times.
    • Manage household supplies inventory.
    • Troubleshoot tv and email/password issues as needed.
  • Meal Prep & Serving:

    • Assist light meal prep on occasion, reheat, and serve food left by the chef.
    • Assist in serving dinner.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a formal home.
  • Proven experience managing a large home independently.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Hard working, positive energy, proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with hospitality and serving guests.
